For more than 10 years, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving has been a day to support the nonprofit organizations that make a difference in the community.
Giving Tuesday is December 2, 2025.
Wyck is home to more than 10,000 objects collected by the Wistar-Haines family assembled over their 200+ years of stewardship. Nine consecutive generations called Wyck home, and their legacy endures both through their treasured possessions and through Wyck’s adherence to their Quaker values of equity and access in the present day. Staff and trained volunteer docents offer free drop-in public tours of the historic house from April to November, escorting visitors through the large public rooms on the first floor to show them some of Wyck’s most treasured objects.
In 2025, the historic house underwent its most important restoration in more than 30 years. Over the course of more than eight months, conservators repaired historic stucco, windows, doors, hardware, and more to preserve and protect the house’s fabric for years to come. The appearance of the historic house’s exterior now shows our long-term investment in our property and our community.
