Wyck Exterior Restoration Project

Wyck is thrilled to announce that the extensive restoration and conservation of the exterior of the historic house will begin in April 2025! This expansive project involves the much-needed restoration of Wyck’s historic windows, shutters, doors, and trellis, and the conservation and restoration of the building stucco.

Wyck will remain open throughout the construction process, though we anticipate a few necessary disruptions to normal tour operations this spring and summer.
We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we learn together throughout this exciting process!

Work is being completed by Heritage Conservation Collective, with Mark B. Thompson Associates as architect, and Dan Bosin Associates as project manager.

The Germantown Avenue gate will remain open for free access to our greenspace throughout the week.

Certain rooms may be closed for tours during the week, and objects may be removed for their safety. If construction work requires the house to be closed, we will post a notice promptly on our website and social media channels. You can always call the office (215-848-1690) to check in on the day of your visit.

The parking lot on Walnut Lane will be CLOSED to visitors for the duration of the project. Free street parking is available on Walnut Lane and metered parking available on Germantown Avenue.

Follow along on our website and social media channels for updates. We look forward to sharing these exciting developments with all of you!
