2018 Summer Seedlings Camp

Ages 5 – 8  |  9am-3:00pm


Summer Seedlings Camp ofchildren exploring farmfers activities that utilize Wyck’s uniquely historical and natural environment.  Our home farm, woodlot, and rose garden provide three distinct habitats for a variety of living things, including chickens, butterflies, honey bees, and more!  Children will use their five senses to explore and connect with the smallest of bugs to the tallest of trees.

July 9-13:    Secret Garden and Colonial America
July 16-20:   Wiggly Worms and Interesting Insects
July 23-27:   Things with Wings
July 30-August 3:   Farming Fun and Fabulous Friends
August 6-10:  Celebrating Summer and Lenape Life
Sample Day at Camp:
  • 8:45 – 9:00 Arrival and greeting, put away lunches, apply sunscreen!
  • 9:15 Welcoming the day
  • 9:30 Game time
  • 10:30 Snack and hydration time, nature observation
  • 11:30 Singing
  • 12:00 Lunch
  • 12:30 Story time
  • 1:00 Craft time
  • 2:00 Game time/Chicken time/Digging time
  • 2:45 Gathering
  • 3:00 Day’s end
April 2 – May 14 Early Bird prices:  $225/ wk Members, Friends of Wyck and $250/ wk for non-members.
