Registration

Space is limited and registrations are processed as they are received. A completed registration packet and payment are required to secure camp attendance. If a registration is received after camp is full, the parent/guardian will be contacted and the child will be put on a waiting list.

Camp Checklist:Farm

  • Complete change of clothes
  • Snack
  • Sunscreen (applied before camp with bottle in bag for reapplication as needed)
  • Insect repellant, if desired (applied before camp with bottle in bag for reapplication as needed)
  • Water bottle
  • Medicine (if applicable)
  • Name on everything

General Policies

All campers must be 4 years old by June 1, 2017.
 
Please write your child(ren)’s name(s) on everything brought to camp. Please do not send campers with toys, cameras, money, or other valuables. The Wyck Association is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
 
Campers must bring all of the following to camp each day. Each item must be marked with your child’s name:
- a snack
- lunch
- water bottle 
 
Please specify any allergies on the registration form.
 
The camp environment is informal but structured. Campers will be informed of all rules and will be expected to follow them for their safety and the safety of others. Children will be age-appropriately disciplined and positive behaviors always reinforced. In the event of repeated misbehavior, the camp director will notify the parent/guardian after the camp day. A camper may be excused at any time for repeated disruptive or inappropriate behavior. No refund will be given.
 
Wyck’s Summer Camp is an outdoor program that includes physical activity. Please be aware that various areas of Wyck’s property have implicit dangers including, but not limited to, exposure to bees, poison ivy, and ankle sprains. Camp staff is trained in administering First Aid and will contact authorized medical personnel in the case of an emergency.
 
Please fill out the medical and emergency contact information on the registration form completely and accurately. In the case of a family emergency during camp hours, you may reach Wyck staff at 215-848-1690.
 
Please apply sunscreen (and insect repellent if desired) prior to camp each day. Camp staff will apply as needed with permission (see registration form).
 

Parking

Please enter Wyck through the parking lot gate on Walnut Lane. There is metered parking on Germantown Avenue and free parking on Walnut Lane and all side streets.  Drop off begins at 9:00 AM.  Please sign your child in and out with the camp director each day.  If your child will be late or absent, please notify Wyck at 215-848-1690.  Campers must be picked up by 1:30 PM and will only be released to pre-authorized adults listed on the registration form, with proper identification.  In the case of inclement weather, pick-up and drop-off will occur at Wyck’s Education Center located in the parking lot off of Walnut Lane.

Camp will be held rain or shine; please dress children accordingly. Washable play clothes and closed-toed shoes must be worn to ensure campers’ safety and the ability to participate in all activities. A complete change of clothes can be left at camp for the week.
