Saturday, May 25 | Celebrate the Roses Open House | 11:00 – 3:00

Come celebrate the blooming of Wyck’s remarkable rose garden! The Wyck Rose Garden dates to the 1820’s and is widely recognized as the oldest rose garden in original plan in America, with 80+ cultivars of historic roses. Learn about the garden’s history and learn about caring for a rose garden today. Saturday, September 7 | Philadelphia Honey Festival | 10:00 – 4:00

The Philadelphia Honey Festival at Wyck  offers a variety of activities that celebrate and educate about our important friend, the honey bee!  This always-popular event includes honey tastings, extractions, presentations, bee-bearding, mead making and tasting, and much more!  Now in its 8th year, the Philadelphia Honey Festival spans three days, beginning with a Friday Honey Happy Hour at Glen Foerd on the Delaware,  then Saturday at Wyck, and finally Sunday at Bartram’s Garden! (September 6-8, 2019)

Saturday, October 5  | Revolutionary Germantown Festival | 10:00 – 4:00

(Off-site) Join Wyck, our friends from Cliveden, and the other sites of Historic Germantown as we celebrate the annual re-enactment of the battle of Germantown!  Battle is reenacted at 12:00 and again at 3:00 on the grounds of Cliveden, 6401 Germantown Avenue.  For more information, please contact Historic Germantown at 215-844-1683.
