Please join our “Love the Rose Garden” volunteer group that meets once a month in Spring, Summer, and Fall. The Wyck Rose Garden is an incredible living repository of antique rose classes and rare varieties in the oldest rose garden in the country in its original plan. All are welcome to work in cooperation with our new horticulturist and fervent local gardeners between 9am and 1pm on select Saturdays. These events will be conducted in drop-in style: Stop by at any point or length of time, and invite friends who’d also like to preserve a piece of Philadelphia history! Please bring a water bottle, sunhat, work gloves, and hand pruners if you have them.
Meeting on the following Saturdays in 2017: April 15, May 20, June 10 , July 15, August 19, September 30, October 21.

- Historic irises in bloom in the perimeter beds.
